When the market took a dip, it took an enormous amount out my monthly income; as a result I guess you could say the market played a pretty big part in my situation. I was two months delinquent on my 7.5% interest-only loan. My monthly payments were just under $2,100. KLD helped me by getting my mortgage company to modify my loan. At the moment, my rate is only 1%, in year three it will go up to 2.5%, and in year five it will be 4% fixed. If I hadn’t of gotten help from KLD, my family and I would probably be living in an apartment. It would have changed our lives for the worse, that’s for sure. I recommend KLD to anyone, anytime.
